Technical Specifications
Load Testing
- Load-rated up to 900 tonnes for a built stack and over 100t for individual blocks in Australian university standard testing*
- Tested in incorrect stacking configurations to verify real-world resilience
- Greater safety margins support both primary and secondary applications
Versatility
- Engineered for strata support, yet tough enough for machinery chocking and construction & dunnage
- Hexagonal form enhances stability across uneven surfaces
- Performance validated across different mining and transport applications
Customisation
- Custom sizing options to suit varied build heights, coverage depths and load capacities
- Optional reflective pigments and colours for enhanced visibility underground
- Designed for evolving site needs without compromising integrity
- New products are being tested and developed to give load capacities between 200-900t
Proven Results
Load testing was
conducted on both
individual BlickBlock units
and a fully assembled
stack. Single block tests
were performed using a
100-tonne press, while full
stack testing utilised
a 1000-tonne press.*
Results
Compressive strength testing
Conducted at Western Sydney University (WSU), the findings from this test proved the maximum strength of the
interlocking crib to be nearly 9000 kN, showing its structural capacity under compression.

PERFORMS ACROSS INDUSTRIES
Built for the toughest
environments
By eliminating issues like shrinkage, splitting, and mismatched sizing, BlickBlock simplifies strata support, improves site safety, and keeps crews moving. Built for the toughest underground environments, it offers predictable performance and maximum uptime where it matters most.
